Suspended Monuments

Suspended Monuments is a series of hanging sculptures depicting abstract bird-figure that carry small models of buildings on their backs. Like the religious images that inspired them, these figures and their structures suggest the significance of a precious place, object, or being, such as  a home or civic institution.
